We open registration for the next school year in March.
All classes follow the Marsh Valley School District calendar and run from August through May. The first days of school will be in the middle of August. Tuition has been broken into a 10-month schedule to help everyone's budget. The registration fee/supply fee is a yearly one-time, non-refundable $175 and includes a Welcome Kit!

Classes are: 2 & 1/2 hours long. We combine our 3, 4, and 5-year-olds together so you can decide which schedule works best for you!

Planning ahead? We would love to call you in March of the year you would like to register your child in Forest Friends Preschool. Please fill out our Pre-registration form if you would like us to call you to schedule a tour then. These lists are on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will call in the order we receive the list, which might affect the ability to get your desired class time. *Please fill this out if you are interested in a future year class. SUMMER cAMP
Ages 2-8
4 week session in June & 4 week session in July
Summer camp is so fun! It gives your child the opportunity to keep a schedule during the summer, avoid being bored, and have fun with extra science experiments and water games! We also provide a snack every class.
There are 2 four-week sessions. So you can sign up for one or both. The first session goes from June 2nd- June 27th and the second session goes from July 7th-Aug. 1st. The registration fee is $25 per child. There are only 12 spots available in each class, so sign up today!

When should I call to register my child?
It’s never too early to call, so call as soon as you even think about registering, because our classes fill up ridiculously fast!
When does preschool start? Can I enroll mid-year?
We have a 10-month school year (Aug.-May) and a 2-month summer camp (June-July). If we have spots available, you can enroll mid-year. Please call us to see if we have any spots available.
How old does my child need to be to attend?
Preschool classes are for children who are ages 3-5 by Aug. 1. Child Care Classes are for children who are ages 2-5 by Aug. 1. Summer camp is for children who are ages 2-8 by June 1.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
No, for Child Care Classes. Yes, for Preschool classes. If you have any questions about whether or not your child is ready, feel free to give us a call. We even have a “How To Potty Train” your child handout we can give you. It’s helped many preschool moms quickly potty train their kids. We’re here to help!
What is your teaching philosophy?
We follow a “whole child” philosophy where we work with you to improve your child’s Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Language, and Physical skills. Our curriculum is based on the NAEYC guidelines and features a balance of teacher-directed and child-initiated hands-on activities to accomplish these goals. We also incorporate Experience Early Learning and Fundamentals Preschool Curriculum. Your child will learn to socialize, make friends, develop social and emotional skills, and be more than ready for Kindergarten!
Are there additional fees during the year?
No. Your registration fee covers all your child’s supplies and reserves a spot in our program. Your child won’t pay anything to attend our field trips and activities. And your family can come for free too! Your child will also receive at no extra cost: a preschool shirt to wear on Spirit Day and a graduation portfolio!
What if my child has food restrictions?
No worries. Several of our students have food intolerances or severe allergies. We ask these families to bring in their own snacks, and we create nut-free classrooms any time a child’s allergy is severe enough to require an epi pen.
Is the registration fee refundable?
No.

STEP 2:
Schedule Your Tour to Register Your Child
At the end of our call, we'll ask you to schedule a tour so we can tell you all about us and ensure we're a good fit.
STEP 3:
Register Your Child During Your Tour
At the end of our tour, we'll ask if you'd like your child to attend our preschool. If so, you'll fill out the registration form and pay the registration fee.
